Thirteen employees from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova are in the United States. According to a statement from the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau, the policewomen participated in the International Women in Policing Conference held in Chicago.
”With the support of the U.S. Embassy’s Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Section, the Moldovan delegation joined over 800 women from 70 countries. The conference highlighted the crucial role of women in law enforcement globally. The program included training sessions on leadership, border management, work-life balance, combating stereotypes, and gender-based violence,” according to the embassy.

The Moldovan policewomen also attended the opening ceremony, which continued with a parade of nations. The representatives of our delegation proudly marched in their service uniforms.
