Forty children from Moldovan diaspora communities will explore winter customs and traditions during the “Longing for Traditions” camp, held from December 24 to 29, 2025. The Diaspora Relations Bureau (BRD) has launched the second edition of the program, designed to strengthen cultural ties and transmit Moldova’s national heritage to younger generations.

The camp is open to children aged 12–17 who can communicate at a basic level in Romanian. Priority will be given to young people who have not previously participated in the BRD programs. Participation is free of charge, with all expenses covered by the state budget, except for transportation to and from Moldova and medical insurance.

“We invite you to join this cultural adventure and rediscover together the beauty of winter traditions!” the BRD announced.
