The Custodian of the Crown, Margareta, will host an evening dedicated to the Republic of Moldova on Thursday, May 18. The event will take place starting at 18:00 at the Elisabeta Palace.
The reception takes place in the context of the war in Ukraine. Thus, the royal family of Romania wants to reiterate its support for the “sister country,” informs Agerpres, concerning the Royal House.
“In the context of the war in Ukraine, we wanted to reiterate the strong ties between Romania and the Republic of Moldova, but also the unequivocal support of the Royal House of Romania for this. Thus, the annual Garden Party turned into an evening dedicated to the sister country”, reports the press office of the Majesty.
Among the guests are representatives of rural and urban communities, members of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, dignitaries of the Romanian state, local authorities, personalities of civil society, of the economic environment, teachers and students, representatives of the Army of Romania and the Republic of Moldova, of the Church and members of Diplomatic Corps accredited in Chisinau and Bucharest.
