The Republic of Moldova will host the European Weightlifting Championship for the first time. The event will be held from 1 to 10 July at Arena Chișinău, the largest sports and entertainment complex in the country.
More than 400 athletes from 38 countries will fight for the title of champion in different weight categories, and the Republic of Moldova will be represented by about 40 young weightlifters.
The European Weightlifting Championship is organized by the Weightlifting Federation of Moldova with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science.
