Romanian startup Hilio, a telemedicine platform offering psycho-emotional health and well-being services, is expanding its activities to the Moldovan market, logos press reports.
The platform has approximately 500,000 registered users and about 1,000 professionals. The startup will offer Moldovan citizens medical and psycho-emotional health services through experts from Romania and the Republic of Moldova registered in it.
Moldcell, the Moldovan partner of the project, launched in Moldova the “e-Health” service. It is a personal health assistant available directly by phone. The service is intended to provide easy access to quality medical consultations for all citizens, regardless of age, through a mobile device.

The telemedicine service “e-Health” has emerged as a timely solution to meet the needs of psycho-emotional health and well-being, especially after the pandemic, when the importance of online health services and telemedicine increased exponentially.
In this way, through strategic partnerships, users will have access to the Hilio platform’s extensive network of specialists without leaving the comfort and privacy of each user’s home.
Through the platform, patients can easily connect directly with specialists working in different areas of healthcare. Their selection and appointment booking is done simply and directly. Both companies have developed technical integration at the platform level to provide a complete and intuitive user interface.
The project participants expect commercial success in the Republic of Moldova, which has a shortage of specialists in the healthcare system, many of whom have moved to work in Romania. It also takes into account the very inconvenient system of appointments for consultations with specialists in polyclinics, when even in case of emergency, one has to wait for an appointment from several days to several weeks.
