The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration will be renamed and reorganized. The relevant decision was adopted at a parliamentary session.
Thus, the name MFAEI will be replaced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). At the same time, a new position of Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration without portfolio will be established.
As Mihai Popsoi noted earlier, the Foreign Ministry will continue its activity according to the same formula. Only the EU accession negotiations will be led by Cristina Gherasimov, appointed head of the European Integration Bureau.
