The man who died in the Dubasari district due to bad weather was a 36-year-old film director, Arkadi Spoiale. A huge branch fell on the tent he was in.
The Spoiale brothers and their families were vacationing in tents on the bank of the Nistru River the night before when the storm started. The incident happened in front of his wife and children: hearing the rumble of the storm, people ran out of the tent with their children, and the man did not have time to get out.
Video footage of the tent on which the branch fell appeared on social networks.
Arcadi Spoiale is a film director and cameraman from the Republic of Moldova who has collaborated with artists such as Marc Stam, the group “Akord,” Alena Mun, and others.
