Castel Mimi colors the summer months with its events. After “Rose Day” comes “Sânzienele Night” with a wide entertainment program for all ages. The organizers are hosting the event for the fourth year in honor of the “good fairies,” also known in local folklore as beautiful women who descend from the sky, sing, and dance in the fields. They are believed to protect nature, attract good luck, and ward off danger.
This year’s “Sânzienele Night” again promises to be a memorable one for all participants in an evening of mystical traditions, unlimited quantities of Midsummer white wine produced by Castel Mimi (one of the wines served and appreciated by high dignitaries attending the EPC Summit on June 1, 2023), picnic on the green grass, children’s activities and live music performed by Catharsis and Felicia Dunaf with the Dunaff Band.
Organizers urge women to wear comfortable footwear, and the dress code for all attendees is traditional shirts or white attire. The event host is influencer Cristina Evtodi, who will weave wreaths made of lavender flowers with the participants of the “Sânzienele Night.”
The Sânzienele’ dances feature lit bonfires and performances by professional dancers from the “Non-Format” Show Ballet, which will captivate guests.
Because the folks at Castel Mimi promote a friendly relationship with nature, each adult visitor will receive a wine glass, which they can take home upon departure. The open-air event will not be complete without tasty dishes prepared at the Open Air Kitchen under the watchful eyes of those present.
