The government plans to negotiate an agreement with the Armenian authorities on air services. The Cabinet of Ministers will discuss the subject at the Wednesday, July 17 meeting.
Several officials from the Infrastructure ministry, interior ministry, economy ministry, and civil aviation authority will negotiate the document signing. Mircea Pascalutsa, secretary of state at the Ministry of Infrastructure, will lead our country’s delegation.
We note that flights to Armenia from Moldova are operated only by FlyOne airline. For now, it is unclear whether the agreement will refer to the entry of any Armenian company into the Moldovan market.
The operator has recently announced tougher travel rules in the wake of scandals involving Shor sympathizers returning from Moscow via Yerevan.
