The Chisinau airport administration reported restriction extension access to the terminal of Chisinau International Airport for another 30 days. Only passengers with tickets, travel documents, personnel, and aircraft crews can enter the terminal.
Due to increased passenger traffic and a busy flight schedule during the summer, travelers should arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure. It will allow travelers to complete all necessary formalities and help avoid flight delays.
“The Risk Management Group has decided to extend the measures to restrict access to the Chisinau International Airport terminal for another 14 days. These measures will ensure optimal comfort and security for all passengers,” stated the explanatory note.

Since May 1, access to Chisinau International Airport has been limited to passengers only. Authorities implemented these measures to safeguard citizens in response to multiple anonymous threats regarding explosive objects within the premises.
