Moldovan pupils win silver and bronze medals at the Balkan Computer Olympiad

Moldovan pupils won a silver and a bronze medal at the Balkan Informatics Olympiad in Ohrid, North Macedonia.

Timur Degteari, a student from “Orizont” Theoretical High School in Durlesti, Chisinau, secured the silver medal, while Alin Popescu, also from the same school, earned the bronze.

Four students and two teachers represented Moldova at the 31st edition of the Balkan Olympiad in Informatics, held from September 20-26, 2024, in Ohrid. The event features 61 students from 16 countries.
