The USM signed an agreement with Sorbonne University in France

A landmark agreement was signed between the State University of Moldova (USM) and Sorbonne University in France on September 30. The Consortium will support academic exchanges, providing new opportunities for students of the Faculty of Law.

At the event, the Ambassador of France in Romania, Nicolas Warner, welcomed the participants from the 16 universities from France and Luxembourg, emphasizing the importance and perspectives of this francophone project.

The Rector of USM, Igor Sharov, thanked the Consortium Board for welcoming the State University into this prestigious academic community and assured that the university will actively participate in this Francophone project.

Vitalina Bahneanu, coordinator of the Francophone Filiere at the USM Faculty of Law, said this is a great achievement for the Filiere, as they have invested a lot of hard work into the project. She believes in the viability and importance of the programs within the Consortium.

Member universities of the Consortium include: Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Aix-Marseille Université, Université de Bordeaux, Université de Lille, Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, Université de Montpellier Université d’Orléans, Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas UPEC (Université Paris-Est Créteil), Université Paris Nanterre, Université Paris-Saclay, Université de Poitiers, Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne, Université de Rennes, Université de Strasbourg Université de Toulon, Université de Luxembourg.
