A Polish official will pay a working visit to Chisinau on Monday, November 18. He is the Minister of Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland. Krzysztof Paszyk and his team will meet with the Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Dumitru Alaiba, and the Minister of Energy, Victor Parlicov.
According to a statement of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Chisinau, they will discuss options to develop trade cooperation and investments in promising areas.
During the visit, the Polish Ministry of Development and Technology and the Moldovan Ministry of Energy will sign a cooperation agreement on energy efficiency in buildings.
“The agreement will support Moldova in its energy transformation by utilizing Polish experience, legislative solutions, and business models, which could benefit Moldova on its path towards EU integration. This cooperation will also contribute to the new business contacts between enterprises from both countries establishment,” the statement said.

According to the same source, the Republic of Poland welcomed the results of the presidential elections and referendum.
Over the past 30 years, Poland’s economy has transformed significantly, moving from a centralized system to an open market economy integrated into global trade and investment. Poland is ready to share this experience with Moldova and constantly supports Moldova’s efforts towards European integration.
“Polish-Moldovan cooperation has seen a profound rapprochement recently. We believe that the intensive political dialog will further deepen economic relations and encourage our entrepreneurs to cooperate,” representatives of the Polish Embassy in Chisinau added.
