According to the Office for Reintegration Policy, political representatives from Chisinau and Tiraspol will meet in Bender on Tuesday, November 19, to discuss the Transnistrian settlement talks.
Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian and Tiraspol’s representative Vitalii Ignatiev are holding discussions at the OSCE Mission in the Republic of Moldova. In his opening remarks, Deputy Prime Minister Serebrian emphasized the pressing challenges farmers in the Dubasari district and Romanian-language schools in the Transnistrian region face. He also addressed the challenging human rights situation, focusing on specific cases of fundamental rights violations, as reported by the Office for Reintegration Policy on Telegram.
Deputy Prime Minister Serebrian also met with Dorota Dlouchy-Suliga, the European Union Special Representative for the Transnistrian settlement negotiations. Their discussion focused on the settlement agenda, Moldova’s European integration efforts, and the measures needed to prepare the eastern districts for the country’s accession to the EU.
