Dumitru Alaiba in Brussels: “Together with the European Union, the Republic of Moldova becomes stronger and more prosperous”

Although the Republic of Moldova is a small country, it possesses enormous potential. By partnering with the European Union, Moldova is becoming stronger and more prosperous—transforming into a nation where every citizen enjoys the security of a better life. Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba made these statements at the European Business Summit in Brussels.

Leaders from politics, business, civil society, and academia gathered at the event to discuss Europe’s key economic and political challenges and opportunities. It aimed to create a platform for public-private dialogue through policies that foster economic development and innovation within the European Union.

“Although we are a small country, we have immense potential. We have a lot to offer the world! That’s why we focus on creating a business-friendly environment: reducing bureaucracy, digitizing public services, lowering taxes, ensuring a skilled and well-paid workforce, and providing support programs for entrepreneurs. It aims to drive business growth, create jobs, and boost the economy. Together with the European Union, Moldova is becoming stronger and more prosperous—a country where every citizen can count on a better quality of life,” said Alaiba.
