Moldovans advised to refrain from traveling to certain areas in Greece due to earthquakes and a state of emergency

Moldovans are advised to avoid non-essential travel to the Ammoudi, Armeni, Kourfou, and Fira regions of Greece. Our embassy in the Hellenic Republic reports that authorities have declared a state of emergency in these areas due to seismic activity.

The risk of landslides and falling rocks remains high following the earthquakes. The warning is in effect until March 1, 2025, according to Moldovan diplomats in Greece.
