On February 27, MPs from the Communists and Socialists Bloc submitted a simple motion against the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization, led by Dumitru Alaiba, during a parliamentary plenary session.
Opposition deputies criticized the ministry for the sector’s poor condition.
“We are submitting a simple motion against the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization due to its failure to develop and implement economic policies, poor management, and lack of concrete actions to address Moldova’s economic challenges,” said Deputy Petru Burduja.

Last week, the opposition, led by Dan Perciun, submitted a motion against the Ministry of Education. Previously, they also filed a motion against the Ministry of Health, led by Ala Nemerenco.
According to the law, the speaker must receive the motion’s text, and parliament must debate it within 14 days.
