This spring, China will host several world-class exhibitions where companies and entrepreneurs from the Republic of Moldova can participate. Boris Foca, President of the Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, provided details about the event organization.
Canton Fair is one of the largest global exhibitions, with a tradition of nearly 80 years. It is held twice a year and has now reached its 137th edition.
“The exhibition is recommended for everyone because it is not one-dimensional; it brings together multiple industries. It is divided into three consecutive weeks to cover the full spectrum of products across various economic sectors,” stated Boris Foca.

The Canton Fair will take place from April 15 to 19. The first phase will feature sub-sectors such as electronics, electric vehicles, electrical equipment, lighting, computers, agriculture, gardening, and production machinery.
“This is one of the most visited phases. So far, 12 companies from Moldova have registered, and companies from Romania will also join us,” announced Boris Foca.
The second phase of the event will run from April 23 to 27, showcasing household goods, interior and exterior decorations, gifts, furniture, and construction materials.
Organizers have scheduled the third phase for May 1 to 5, featuring products for mothers and children, toys, clothing and footwear, textiles, and health and recreation products.
The Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry provides a service package for each exhibition. Additionally, a representative from the institution will act as the head of the delegation, assisting participants with processes and potential challenges.
