Starting March 24, 2025, individuals who receive postal shipments valued between 150 euros and 1000 euros can complete the customs declaration online. The authorities aim to simplify the process through this new regulation.
As a result, citizens will no longer need to go to customs offices or use brokerage services. Individuals will complete the document on the website https://ecustoms.trade.gov.md/individual-person.
Those providing the information will receive clear instructions on the data to include in the declaration. They must ensure the document’s accuracy and take responsibility for any errors.

“However, the customs officer can verify the declaration before submitting and registering it in the Customs Information System. After the customs officer verifies the information and calculates the import duties, the person can pay through MPAY. Subsequently, after customs clearance grants the package, it will be delivered directly to the address provided initially,” according to the Customs press service.
To facilitate the use of the platform, the Customs Service has published explanatory video that will guide users through the completing process and submitting the customs declaration.
