A plane with 160 passengers turned back mid-flight after two failed landing attempts in Chisinau

A plane flying the Istanbul–Chisinau route had to return to Turkey after failing to land at Chisinau International Airport. Witnesses said the aircraft made two unsuccessful landing attempts due to strong winds.

Journalist Adrian Prodan, who was on board, shared the experience on social media: “The scariest day for me and the plane with 160 passengers on board (…). After about an hour of circling over Moldova, our plane turned back. We don’t know the exact reason. We’re safe now.”
