Two Moldovan Athletes Win Bronze at World U20 Championships in Peru

Two Moldovan athletes reached the podium at the World Under-20 Championships in Peru, the National Olympic and Sports Committee (NOSC) has announced.

Alexandr Baldji won a bronze medal in the clean and jerk with a lift of 172 kg, finishing 4th overall in the 73 kg weight category.

In the 76 kg category, Alexandrina Ciubotaru also earned bronze in the snatch with a result of 124 kg, placing 7th overall.
