The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Moldova launches a grant competition to support youth-led social cohesion initiatives. Applicants must submit their applications by May 23, 2025.
UNDP will offer ten grants, each worth up to 16,000 USD.
Non-governmental organizations registered under the Republic of Moldova’s national legislation can apply. Eligible organizations must meet several conditions.

“Organizations must be legally registered as NGOs or civil society organizations in the Republic of Moldova. Organizations must also operate in one of the following areas: Ocnita, Donduseni, Orhei, Causeni, Stefan Voda, Basarabeasca, Cahul, Taraclia, Comrat (Gagauzia Autonomous Territorial Unit), or Durlesti (Chisinau Municipality). Alternatively, they must have carried out at least three project interventions in these areas within the last three years,” explains UNDP.
This competition is part of the project “Strengthening Social Cohesion in Moldova through Dialogue and Community Empowerment,” which seeks to enhance social cohesion, resilience, and sustainable peace on both sides of the Dniester River.
