Moldova will begin talks with Irish authorities to sign a social protection agreement, Labor Minister Alexei Buzu announced, as reported by IPN.

The minister agreed with his Irish counterpart, Dara Calleary, to begin bilateral negotiations under an accelerated process. “We work to ensure adequate social protection for our citizens wherever they live,” said Alexei Buzu.

Around 25,000 to 30,000 Moldovan citizens currently reside in Ireland.
