Moldova and the UAE to Abolish Visa Regime

The Republic of Moldova and the United Arab Emirates are set to abolish the visa regime on a reciprocal basis, according to a draft agreement scheduled for discussion at the Moldovan Cabinet of Ministers meeting on May 21.

The agreement provides visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic, special, service, and ordinary passports, allowing stays of up to 90 days within 180 days.

“Citizens of either Party, who hold valid passports of the specified categories, will not be required to obtain a visa to stay in the territory of the other Party for up to 90 calendar days,” the agreement’s information note states.
