Authorities are urging Moldovan citizens in Israel to remain indoors unless they have an essential reason to go out. They are advising people to steer clear of crowded places, avoid using public transportation, and refrain from traveling to the northern and southern regions of the country. People must follow the instructions of local authorities and remain close to air raid shelters. They should also regularly monitor official updates from the Embassy and Israeli authorities.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova issued these recommendations due to the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East.
Israeli airports, including Ben Gurion, have temporarily suspended operations. Similarly, seaports and land crossings to Egypt and Jordan are either closed or blocked.

In addition, two flights scheduled for today, June 13, to and from Tel Aviv, Israel, were canceled, according to the official arrivals and departures boards displayed on the Chisinau International Airport website. FlyOne canceled the first flight, 5F 509, scheduled to depart for Tel Aviv at 08:00. It appears as ”CANCELLED” on the departures board.
The second affected flight is the return flight 5F 510, due to arrive from Tel Aviv in Chisinau at 14:40. This one also appears as ”CANCELLED” on the arrivals board.
Both cancellations are linked to security conditions, as Israel launched a major attack on Iran on Friday, June 13. Explosions were reported in Tehran and at the Natanz nuclear facility. Operation “Nation of Lions” targets Iran’s nuclear program and is expected to last several days. Reports indicate that Israeli forces killed the head of the Revolutionary Guards.
