Regular Consular Services Temporarily Suspended at the Moldovan Embassy in Israel

Due to the worsening situation in Israel, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Tel Aviv has temporarily suspended regular consular services. It will now provide only emergency assistance, travel documents, and support in exceptional cases.

The airspace remains closed indefinitely, but individuals can leave the area by land through Egypt and Jordan.

  • Allenby Bridge (to Jordan): Open 08:00–14:00
  • Yitzhak Rabin Crossing (to Jordan): Open 08:00–20:00
  • Taba (to Egypt): Open 24/7
  • Jordan River Crossing (to Jordan): Open 09:00–16:00

Moldovan citizens planning to cross into Egypt or Jordan must meet those countries’ entry requirements:

  • Egypt: A visa is required. Travelers can obtain it in advance or, in some cases, directly at the Taba border crossing—at the discretion of Egyptian authorities.
  • Jordan: A visa is mandatory. Travelers should issue it at border crossings (including Allenby Bridge and Jordan River Crossing), but Jordanian authorities may deny entry without explanation. Travelers should carry cash for the visa fee.

Those needing consular assistance or wish to contact officials in Chisinau can reach the Moldovan Embassy in Israel at Leonardo Da Vinci 21, Tel Aviv, by calling the Emergency phone (24/7): +972 52 778 9772.
