  • 🏥 Equipment for military medical facilities
  • 🛸 Unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and training for operational personnel
  • 🛠 Construction of a technical maintenance center

  • Managed on the ground by the German Federal Ministry of Defense

🤝 A Longstanding and Evolving Partnership

This initiative builds upon Moldova-Germany military cooperation that began in 2003 when the first defense agreement was signed. Germany’s broader program of support for partner nations focuses on democratic oversight, transparency, and capacity-building in the defense sector.

🇲🇩🇪🇺 Strategic Significance

The new agreement represents a strategic step forward in Moldova’s efforts to modernize its military and bolster national and regional security, particularly in the current European geopolitical climate.
