Margareta Lisitsa of Moldova secured the bronze medal at the European U-15 Women’s Wrestling Championship, held in Caorle, Italy, IPN reports.
In the match for third place, Lisitsa delivered a dominant performance, defeating Finland’s Anna Aino Hietaniemi with a decisive score of 12:0.
According to the National Wrestling Federation, Ana Puiu also came close to winning a medal but narrowly missed the podium after a 7:7 tie with Romania’s representative, losing on criteria.
