Igor Grosu, head of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), has announced the party’s top political objective for the next four years: signing Moldova’s accession treaty to the European Union by 2028, before the end of President Maia Sandu’s second term.
Grosu announced during the PAS annual conference, titled “United for European Moldova,” where he reviewed the government’s achievements and outlined its priorities for the coming years.
“We’ve brought Moldova to a new level. In four years, we’ve preserved peace and freedom, supported people, and invested in communities. Now, we’re determined to strengthen Moldova’s European path with clear and ambitious goals for the entire country,” Grosu stated.

Key Achievements Over the Past Four Years:
- Nearly 4 billion lei invested in healthcare
- Almost 3 billion lei allocated to villages and cities
- Over 760 km of roads repaired
- More than 940 km of modernized water supply networks
The PAS Priorities for the Next Four Years:
- Sign the EU accession treaty by 2028
- Double incomes for the active population, including workers in the private sector, education, healthcare, and public safety
- Double Moldova’s exports of goods and services to international markets
- Rehabilitate 3,000 km of national and regional roads by 2029
- Launch a national program to promote Moldovan culture and traditions, including among the diaspora.
“We will not stop — and we have no right to stop. Together, we are building Moldova’s future and caring for its people,” Grosu emphasized, reaffirming the PAS’s political commitment to modernizing the country and achieving full European integration.
