The Government Approves 35 New Community Projects Through Diaspora Investment Program

The Moldovan government approved the list of 35 local development projects that will receive funding under this year’s edition of the “Diaspora Acasa Reuseste (DAR) 1+3” program. Authorities increased the state contribution per selected project from 250,000 to 350,000 lei, bringing the total government funding to 10 million lei.

The selected projects aim to improve local infrastructure, playgrounds, public parks, cultural centers, and educational institutions. Other winning initiatives focus on environmental protection, renewable energy, and sports infrastructure.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean expressed gratitude to Moldovans abroad for their continued investment in local communities. “We thank the diaspora for contributing to Moldova’s development. We will keep allocating resources to support impactful, community-driven initiatives,” Recean stated.
