Gastronomy, dances, traditions, and culture are the values that unite Moldovans, according to citizens interviewed by journalist Traian Stoianov.
Speaking about national unity, respondents emphasized emotional connections to home, noting that “there is no place like it,” and shared their views on what brings people together.

Some pointed to politicians as a source of division, while others highlighted the country’s rich history, life principles, and way of being as factors that strengthen unity.
Interviewees also underscored the importance of solidarity, kindness, and diversity, stressing that while Moldovans are unique, they must also learn about and respect the cultures of other peoples.
