On August 25, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Dorin Recean held a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The talks focused on the situation of the 15,000 Moldovan citizens working in Israel, with emphasis on ensuring their safety, well-being, and fair labor conditions.
The two officials also discussed the annual Hasidic Jewish pilgrimage, agreeing on logistical and security arrangements to be financially supported by the Israeli side.

Additionally, Recean highlighted the importance of continued cooperation in identifying and recovering assets stolen from Moldova by the criminal group led by Ilan Shor.
