The EU Council adopted a decision that grants duty-free access to seven Moldovan agricultural products — plums, table grapes, apples, tomatoes, garlic, cherries, and grape juice — on the European market.
Until now, Moldova exported these products under limited quota-free amounts through a temporary liberalization regime introduced in 2022 and extended until July 2025.
With this decision, Brussels replaces the provisional regime with a stable framework that secures long-term access for Moldovan producers to the EU market.
