Moldovan music reflects a vibrant folkloric tradition, harmonized with modern influences. It embodies national identity, where doina, hora, sârba, and ballads flow naturally into classical compositions.

Renowned personalities have carried Moldova’s name to international stages. Among them are sopranos Maria Bieșu and Valentina Nafornita, as well as composer Eugen Doga, whose masterpieces – including “My Sweet and Tender Beast”, “Waltz”, and “Gramophone” – continue to captivate audiences worldwide.

The country’s future rests in each of us. Every small step fuels great change, and the choices we make today shape the lives of tomorrow’s generations.

With this belief, the Realitatea Media Group launched the campaign “Moldova That Unites Us.” The initiative tells the stories of people who made history and brought pride to the nation, shares opinions from citizens across the country, offers insights into socio-political realities, and highlights the symbols Moldovans carry in their hearts—or in their luggage—from Lisbon to New York.
