The blockchain analysis company Elliptic, in collaboration with the IPN press agency, has confirmed that since the start of 2024, cryptocurrency wallets associated with Ilan Shor’s business structures have processed at least $ 8 billion in US dollars. The revelations stem from a leak of internal documents and correspondence among members of the Shor group.
According to IPN, the scheme operated by transferring Russian funds through companies in Kyrgyzstan, a state with close ties to Moscow. The same source previously reported that Shor allegedly offered Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov a private plane via a network of intermediaries.
Leaked correspondence shows employees discussing transactions in USDT (Tether). In one exchange, a user under the pseudonym athena1098 requested a transfer of 2 million USDT, which was executed within minutes.

In total, analysts have identified 11 crypto wallets associated with the Shor group. Elliptic confirmed that more than $8 billion moved through these wallets, though the real figure may be higher, as additional wallets remain undiscovered.

Experts also noted that in August 2025, the group carried out a mass change of wallet addresses, most likely in response to the leak. Other conversations on the Mattermost app suggest that a user with the pseudonym travolta, believed to be Ilan Shor himself, monitored inflows and outflows in the so-called A7A5 project.
