Igor Grosu confirms: Alexandru Munteanu will be the PAS candidate for prime minister

The PAS leader Igor Grosu confirmed that Alexandru Munteanu will be the party’s candidate for Prime Minister. Grosu said the party will wait for the Constitutional Court to validate the new legislature before submitting Munteanu’s candidacy to the president.

The current speaker highlighted Munteanu’s experience: he founded the French Alliance, worked in non-governmental organizations, and collaborated with foreign companies.

Grosu stated, “PAS will wait for the deputy mandates to be validated by the Constitutional Court and for President Sandu to convene the parliamentary session. After the parliamentary factions are formed, we will submit Alexandru Munteanu’s candidacy for Prime Minister. He is an economist, university professor, and Moldovan businessman, known for his work in investments and international educational and cultural projects. He founded 4i Capital Partners and serves as president of the French Alliance in Moldova.”
