The National Bureau of Statistics reports that in November 2025, average consumer prices increased by 7.0% compared to the same period last year. Since the beginning of the year, inflation has reached 5.9%, while prices rose by 0.3% compared to October.
The monthly increase was driven mainly by higher prices for non-food goods and services for the population, while food prices remained generally stable.
Still, November saw sharp price hikes for eggs (+18.9%), salted and smoked fish and seafood (+9.8%), and milk and dairy products (+0.7%), while fresh fruit fell in price by 4.2% and vegetables by 3.5%.
In the category of non-food goods, the largest increases were recorded for fuel and petroleum products (+2.1%), especially diesel (+6.1%) and gasoline (+1.9%), as well as medicines (+0.8%). Among services, prices rose for waste collection (+2.4%) and passenger transport (+1.5%), including air transport (+6.1%).
According to official data, over the past 12 months, prices increased by 6.3% for food products, 2.7% for non-food goods, and 14.2% for services, confirming substantial inflationary pressure on household costs.
