In the context of recent drone attacks on Ukraine, the Border Police urge citizens to follow strict safety measures to protect public security.

Authorities advise people who spot drones or drone debris on the ground not to approach or touch them and not to attempt to move or transport any parts. Citizens should immediately call the emergency number 112 and keep a safe distance until specialized services arrive. The Border Police also warn against dismantling or using drone components, as they may pose risks of fire, explosion, or electrocution.

The institution stressed that drones or their debris may contain explosive materials, dangerous batteries, or electrical elements that can cause serious accidents. If citizens notice a drone in flight, they should not attempt to intercept or destroy it and must immediately contact emergency services.

The Border Police emphasized that public safety is a shared responsibility and that respecting these recommendations helps protect lives, health, and property.

Authorities also recalled that traffic on the Maiaki–Udobnoe bridge has been suspended following a new drone attack. Currently, border crossing points Palanca–Maiaki–Udobnoe and Tudora–Starokazacie process only entries into the Republic of Moldova.

The Border Police announced that exit from the Republic of Moldova is permitted only for citizens traveling to Bilhorod-Dnistrovsk, Ukraine.
