The Republic of Moldova will perform in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced, IPN reports.
Moldova will compete in the semi-final alongside Sweden, Portugal, Georgia, Finland, Croatia, and Greece. The exact running order will be revealed by the end of March.
The 2026 Eurovision Song Contest marks the 70th edition of the competition. The semi-finals are scheduled for May 12 and 14, with the grand final on May 16.
In Moldova, the National Eurovision Final 2026 will take place on January 17 at Arena Chișinău. Sixteen artists and bands, selected through live auditions in December, will compete for the chance to represent the country.
Moldova returns to Eurovision after a one-year hiatus.
