Simple motion against the Minister of Energy: The day Junghietu will appear before Parliament has been set

The Standing Bureau has approved the agenda for the plenary sittings of Parliament scheduled for February 12–20, 2026. During this period, MPs will examine in first reading draft amendments to the Education Code, legislative initiatives aimed at reforming authorities subordinated to the Ministry of Environment, and proposed changes related to the costs of judicial expertise.

Lawmakers will also debate the draft law on ratifying a decision of the Joint Committee established under the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Turkey. The agenda includes the EU-marked draft law that transforms the farm accountancy data network into an agricultural sustainability data network, along with other amendments to agricultural legislation.

In final reading, MPs will consider the draft law on mediation and the status of mediators, as well as the bill on preventing and combating the sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children.

In addition, members of the Standing Bureau decided to examine the simple motion on state policy in the energy sector, energy security in relation to consumer protection and tariff stability, submitted by a group of MPs from the “Partidul Nostru,” “Alternativa,” and “Democratia Acasa” factions, during the plenary sitting on February 19.

The plenary sitting of Parliament will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12.
