Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu says there is a major difference between Moldova and Ukraine, emphasizing that Moldova is a country undergoing development.

In an interview with Moldova 1, the head of government explained that he traveled by car to Otaci, from where he took a train to Kyiv. Along the way, he said, he observed ongoing construction projects, illuminated roads, and improved road quality.

“The level of street lighting in Moldova, compared to Ukraine, is incomparable. We live in a country that is developing. Ukrainians do not have this luxury,” Munteanu stated.

The prime minister also noted that he had lived in Kyiv for several years and understands the differences between the two countries. According to him, Ukraine is experiencing stagnation as a result of the war.
