The program features conferences, debates, academic competitions, film screenings, theater performances, poetry recitals, thematic workshops and language contests.

The local office of the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie coordinates “Francophonie en libre acces,” an open air event on Eugen Doga Pedestrian Street with flash mobs, musical moments and poetry readings.

The AUF and the Embassy of France in Moldova are organizing the national contest “Le patrimoine moldave me tient a coeur,” inviting participants to present and promote elements of cultural heritage through works created in French.

Organizers will hold the 25th edition of the Francophone Film Festival from March 16 to 26, 2026, at Cineplex Loteanu in Chisinau. The public can watch films from francophone countries free of charge, subject to seat availability.

The Alliance Francaise de Moldavie is organizing the fifth edition of the International Francophone School Theater Festival and the French Song Festival, giving young people the opportunity to showcase their talent and promote francophone culture.

Organizers will close Francophonie Days on March 30 with a festive concert performed by students of the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts of Chisinau. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova and the Ministry of Education and Research of Moldova support the event together with foreign embassies and numerous cultural and educational partners.
