Maia Sandu to Visit Finland and Latvia to Boost EU Integration Talks

Maia Sandu will visit the Republic of Finland and the Republic of Latvia from March 31 to April 1 to strengthen bilateral relations and deepen cooperation, focusing on regional security and Moldova’s accession to the European Union.

On March 31, Sandu will travel to Helsinki for a working visit, where she will meet with Alexander Stubb. The two leaders will hold a joint press conference and conduct discussions with other officials and representatives of Finland’s civil society.

On April 1, Sandu will continue her trip in Riga for an official visit at the invitation of Edgars Rinkēvičs. She will meet with her Latvian counterpart, hold a joint press conference, and conduct talks with Prime Minister Evika Siliņa and the leadership of the Latvian Parliament.

During the visit, Sandu will also deliver a speech in a plenary session of the legislature in Riga.
