The Moldovan government is reshuffling senior officials across several key institutions.

Elena Tibirna, head of the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM), has been appointed director of the State Tax Service. The current head of the State Tax Service will become a deputy director within the institution.

Ion Dodon is moving from his position as head of the National Health Insurance Company to the Public Services Agency. The CNAM director position will be taken over by Dr. Andrei Uncuță, former director of the Republican Clinical Hospital and current State Secretary at the Ministry of Health.

Radu Musteata, former head of the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA), who served as agriculture minister for only two days, has been appointed head of the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA).

According to the prime minister, the transfers are aimed at making use of managers’ experience and track records across different institutions. He explained that some officials are being moved because they achieved strong results in their previous positions, and the government wants them to bring the same energy and performance to the transformation of other important public institutions.
