In 2025, the family of the State Secretary at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Mircea Pasculata, declared higher total income from social benefits and family event gifts than from his official public salary.
According to the asset declaration cited by bani.md, the family received over 739,000 lei in social payments and €46,700 in gifts from wedding and christening events.
Pascaluta official income as state secretary amounted to 549,300 lei in salary and per diems. In addition, he received payments for his activity in the boards of state-owned enterprises, including 119,000 lei from Chișinău International Airport, 100,500 lei from MoldATSA, and 29,200 lei from Moldelectrica.
The family also benefited from multiple payments from the National Social Insurance House (CNAS). These included 31,700 lei in paternity allowance for Pascaluta and 277,300 lei in maternity allowance for his wife, as well as 400,300 lei in child-rearing benefits, alongside other social payments such as birth grants and financial support. In total, social benefits exceeded 739,000 lei.
The declaration also includes €32,400 received at a wedding and €14,300 at a christening, totaling €46,700 in family donations.
Pascaluta declared ownership of a 79.9 sqm apartment purchased in 2023 for approximately 2.43 million lei, a 2016 Mercedes C300, and the use of a 2018 Skoda Superb under leasing.
