Thirteen police officers from the Republic of Moldova will be responsible for maintaining public order and security at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Ministry of Internal Affairs made the announcement.
“For the first time, a team from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, consisting of 13 police officers, will ensure public order and security at the 2024 Summer Olympics and Paralympics in the French Republic,” announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Paris Olympics will be from July 26 to August 11, 2024. This spectacular event will include extraordinary sports competitions at renowned locations across the French capital. Thousands of athletes will get the opportunity to compete in some of Paris’s most picturesque settings, such as beach volleyball near the Eiffel Tower and equestrian events at the Palace of Versailles courtyard.

The Paris Olympics will officially commence with the opening ceremony on July 26, though some events will start two days prior. The French organizing committee published the full schedule two years ago, precisely 724 days before the games. The competition will kick off on July 24 with eight matches in the men’s football tournament and 12 rugby matches. Over 18 days, the Paris Olympics will feature 329 events across 32 sports disciplines.
