Parliament representatives announced that a NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA) delegation will visit the Republic of Moldova on March 24–25, 2025, for a fact-finding mission. The delegation includes members of the NATO PA Subcommittee on Transatlantic Defense and Security Cooperation and the NATO PA Subcommittee on Transition and Development.
The officials will meet with Speaker Igor Grosu and Lilian Carp, Chair of the National Security, Defense, and Public Order Committee and head of Moldova’s parliamentary delegation to NATO PA.

The fact-finding visit includes discussions with President Maia Sandu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Mihail Popsoi, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii, and Minister of Energy Dorin Junghietu.
A public discussion will bring civil society and academic representatives to address Moldova’s cooperation with NATO.
The visit will focus on regional security challenges and potential areas of cooperation to enhance stability and peace.
