A delegation from Germany’s Ministry of Defense is visiting Chisinau from July 8-10.
During the meetings, the sides discussed current cooperation and identified potential directions for support and assistance in reforming the national defense system.
Defense Minister Anatoly Nosatii expressed sincere appreciation for the active role played by German partners in reforming the National Army, assisting over the years to bolster defense capacity and fortify national resilience against security challenges.
The program of discussions focused on expertise, training opportunities for the National Army, and logistical assistance.

The participants in the meeting also discussed the participation and contribution of Moldovan peacekeepers in peacekeeping operations under the aegis of the UN and other international organizations.
