A delegation from the France–Moldova Parliamentary Friendship Group in the French Senate will visit Moldova from June 10 to 12, the Moldovan Parliament announced.
The senators plan to meet with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and members of the Moldova–France Friendship Group, led by MP Marcela Adam. They will also hold meetings with representatives of the “Party of Action and Solidarity” and the “Bloc of Communists and Socialists” factions.
Their agenda includes discussions with President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean, and Minister of Labour and Social Protection Alexei Buzu.

The delegation also scheduled meetings with representatives of non-governmental organizations and with Valentina Buzu, the mayor of Peresecina village in the Orhei district. The senators will visit the Orhei District Hospital, a kindergarten where children study French, and a local community center.
The visit will focus on opportunities to strengthen Moldova–France cooperation, including at the parliamentary level, and explore how Moldova can apply France’s experience in the EU accession process.
