A new fake document is circulating on social media. The Ministry of Environment issues clarifications for citizens

City halls across the country and several NGOs received an “order” via email stating that the construction of waste incinerators would begin in several districts. The Ministry of Environment has announced that this document is fake.

“In response to the recent public information regarding an ‘order’ received by city halls across the country and several NGOs via email concerning the construction of waste incinerators in multiple districts, the Ministry of Environment informs that these are FORGERIES.

The Ministry has notified the relevant authorities to investigate the source of this false information and to take the necessary measures against those distributing it,” reads the statement issued by the institution.

In this regard, the Ministry urges citizens to verify their information sources and consult the official communication channels of the Ministry of Environment to obtain accurate and up-to-date information regarding its activities and initiatives.
